This year's dance recital theme is Movin' and Groovin' with Spark, it will focus on any and all things that move you from one point to another!
The recital is crucial for your child's experience as a dancer. It teaches them dedication, determination, and commitment. As they take the stage, they may feel excited, hesitant, or scared, but when they hear the applause and cheers, they feel accomplished and confident. The experience gives them courage to overcome fears and push beyond limits. All dancers participate in the dance recital, an essential part of their dancing experience. At Spark, we train dancers year-round because we believe dance is not a seasonal sport. Our classes are back in session the week following the recital.

Payments will be processed on June 15 in Parent Portal or Square if you do not have access to the portal.
Programs & Dancer Ads
Recognize your dancer(s) by giving them a spotlight in the recital program. We have several options to choose from. You can also preorder additional programs (all families will receive one program) at a discounted rate or receive a free program with the purchase of full-page ads. The due date for ads is June 1.

Class & Individual Pictures
May 20-24, 2024
During regularly scheduled class time, all dancers will need a parent or guardian to accompany them to classes during this week to assist in costume changes and to pick up costumes.
Please ensure that your dancer attends all classes this week, as we will be taking class pictures that will be used in the recital program. We will be taking group and individual photos, and we encourage dancers to take pictures with friends and siblings. Last year's theme was "Gone Country", and this year we have a very colorful backdrop. Our photographer, Laura Blackburn, owns Silverlight Photography, and you can visit her website at www.silverlightphotography.shootproof.com. Laura is also the official photographer of Spark and often captures shots of our staff and students in action, which are showcased on the Spark website.
